Hi, I'm Isaak.

I'm a PostDoc Oxford Martin Programme on Forecasting Technological Change. My research focuses on the economics and governance of technological transitions, currently focusing on transformative AI. 

Before that I completed my PhD at the University of Amsterdam on the structure of economic development and technological transitions, and led research at Arcadia Impact's AI Governance Taskforce on AI incident monitoring and crisis preparedness.

In my private life, I either collect music  or dance (contact) improvisation.
